面對寵物的死亡 用繪本陪伴孩子療傷

孩子有養動物的經驗是好的，除了讓孩子學習照顧動物之外，孩子也能夠因此與動物產生細膩深刻的情感連結，以更柔軟慈悲的心腸與動物互動。然貓狗的壽命比人類短少許多，當孩子面臨寵物死亡之際，會傷心、會流淚，是不是有哪些繪本可以陪伴孩子療傷呢？
我第一本想到的繪本是《跳吧！跳跳》，多年前當我讀到這本繪本的英文版時，憶起與我們家相處多時、老時受心臟病折磨的狗兒甜甜，不禁悲從中來，眼淚嘩啦啦直往下流。我用淚水訴說著我對甜甜的想念，也用淚水洗滌我失去甜甜的傷痛。
於是，我想說，在您陪伴孩子共讀寵物死亡議題繪本時，不要擔心孩子會太難過，孩子也需要好好大哭一場來宣洩悲傷情緒。讓我們告訴孩子，生離死別令人不捨，你可以哭泣，但千萬不要心碎啊！時間會療癒這深沉的哀傷，底下這些童書也可以幫助孩子療癒心裡對寵物的思念：
